Amid the ongoing off-cycle governorship election in Kogi state, a video clip is making the rounds on social media with the claim that a local government chairman was arrested along with other suspects with ammunition and cash in the state.
An X user posted the video alongside the caption, “Breaking news ; Yahaya Bello of Kogi State thugs and Igalamela LG chairman arrested with Guns, millions of naira and live ammunition.” The post has since garnered over 1,000 views, 35 retweets and 46 likes.
The same video was also posted by Naija Election on Instagram with the caption, “LIVE FROM KOGI Igalamela-Odolu LGA Chairman busted his morning with arms, ammunition, charms, cash etc. Goldmynetv also shared the video on Instagram.
