FACT CHECK: Did Gunmen disrupt electoral process in Southern Ijaw and Sagbama LGA, Bayelsa?

Reports making round on social media suggests that electoral process in Southern Ijaw and Sagbama LGA were disrupted by gunmen in Bayelsa state.

According to the reports, the thugs first struck at Agorogbene units 6, 7, and 8 in Ward 11 of Southern Ijaw, leading to the destruction of election materials. 

The armed group according to the report later targeted the Registration Area Center, carting away election materials from five out of seven polling units. Similarly, the gunmen were said to have also disrupted the election process in Southern Ijaw and Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State, taking control of election materials.
