CDD Fact check operates as a distinct unit within a legally registered non-profit organization
in Nigeria, the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD). CDD is headquartered in
Abuja, Nigeria with registration number CAC/IT/NO 414767 by Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs
Commission (CAC). CDD was founded in 1997 to mobilise global opinion and resources for
democratic development and provide an independent space to reflect critically on the
