The Governor of Niger state, Abubakar Sani Bello earlier this year told a news outlet that 7 to 8 LGAs in the state are under bandit attack. Although he did not mention those LGAs affected, some of the LGAs in reports include Shiroro, Munya, Mashegu, Wushishi, amongst others.
