FACT CHECK: Did Peter Obi delete tweet announcing his resignation from PDP as Keyamo claims?

On April 4, 2023, Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson for the campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), retweeted a post claiming Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, had deleted the tweet announcing his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Keyamo tweeted “Are you serious? He deleted it? OMG! As deceitful as that? Is this the man that wanted to be President? The ‘new breed’? Oh, no! This is so cheap and disappointing! Those who classified him a ‘conman’ were not wrong after all. Now, we can relate this to the lame denial of the ‘yes-daddy’ audio!”
