In the disturbing video, some individuals were lying on the road already set on fire with tyres and a mob could be seen beating them.

Claim: Video shows the killing of Igbos over alleged money rituals in Mozambique
Verification
To confirm the claim’s veracity, the CDD War Room conducted a Google reverse image search to trace the source of the viral video and here is what we found.
Krudplug.net published the longer version of the exact video in April 2023 alongside the report that 13 suspected gang members were beaten and burnt to death with gasoline-soaked tyres in the Republic of Haiti.
Haiti National Police disclosed that officers in the capital city’s Canape Vert section stopped and searched a minibus carrying some suspects found with weapons, for contraband, before they were lynched by members of the public, according to the news piece.
The incident, described as horrific vigilante violence, was said to underline public anger over the rising lawless situation in Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital, where criminal gangs had reportedly taken control of an estimated 60% of the city following the assassination of President Jovenel Moise in July 2021.
The Associated Press, BBC, Voice of America, and Los Angeles Times also reported the development as can be seen here, here, here and here.
Verdict: FALSE
The CDD War Room confirms that the viral video shows the moment suspected gang members were lynched by a mob in Haiti, not Igbos being killed. Multiple media outlets such as the Associated Press, BBC, Voice of America, and Los Angeles Times reported the development in April 2023.
