Focus on the Jobs, Economy and Security – Nigerians Urge President Buhari

The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD-West Africa) has recently released the 2019 Buharimeter Survey report. The report amongst other findings identified Job creation, economy, security and poverty alleviation as the most important policy priorities that Nigerians want President Buhari’s administration to address over the next four years of his 2nd democratically elected tenure.

The Center For Democracy and Development (CDD) has opened its Election Analysis Center (EAC) ahead of Saturday's governorship election in Edo State. At a press conference in Abuja Thursday, The non-governmental organization states that it will closely observe key aspects of the electoral process in the state.

It notes that the election will be monitored in line with the core principles of non-partisan election observation as enshrined in extant national laws, guidelines, and international best practices.

According to CDD, the EAC deployment plan is based on a purposive sampling technique where wards and Polling Units will be observed on the basis of the situational and political contextual analysis of the state. Read more: https://yans.ng/news/just-cdd-west-af...
