The International Fact-Checking Network is a unit of the Poynter Institute dedicated to bringing together fact-checkers worldwide. The IFCN was launched in September 2015 to support a booming crop of fact-checking initiatives by promoting best practices and exchanges in this field.
The RAITH Foundation, a privately funded grant-maker, is not politically affiliated and does not raise funds from the public. The foundation’s area of focus is on the systemic injustice and unfairness that prevails in South Africa, for which it seeks effective and lasting solutions
The Open Society Foundations work to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. Working with local communities in more than 100 countries, the Open Society Foundations support justice and human rights, freedom of expression, and access to public health and education. They have provided funding since 2013.
