The post had garnered more than 54,000 views as of the time it was retrieved.

A review of the viral video shows that it does not depict a shooting incident at Ward 1, Okesa, in Ilesa East LGA during the 2026 Osun governorship election.
The footage was traced to an incident in which unidentified hoodlums disrupted the voting exercise during the November 2024 off-cycle governorship election in Ondo State.
The video was therefore online before the August 15, 2026, Osun governorship election and was not recorded in Ilesa East LGA.
