A claim that soldiers arrested thugs at Oba Akenzua primary school, Uzebu was sent to us via our Meedan platform. The claim attached with a Facebook link also insinuated that the thugs arrested were from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Verification
Upon careful analysis, we observed that indeed some persons men were arrested by security operatives inclusive of the Nigerian police and Nigerian military.
The video also showed a vehicle with the imprint ‘Edo Youth’. The vehicle carried materials with the APC logo and a name combination of the candidates Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa.
Our observers and Soldiers of Mouth also confirmed the incident which happened on September 20, 2024.
