Verification

CDD War Room reviewed reports from The Whistler and News Weekly, both of which carried headlines suggesting that Tinubu had withdrawn his support for Soludo. However, the body of the reports relied solely on unnamed “close sources,” which could not be independently verified.

Further checks by CDD War Room found no official statement or direct quote from President Tinubu or the presidency either confirming or denying the alleged withdrawal of support. Similarly, there was no evidence of the President or the APC leadership endorsing Ukachukwu publicly.

Verdict: All we know

The claim that President Tinubu withdrew support for Charles Soludo and endorsed APC candidate Nicholas Ukachukwu is not supported by verifiable evidence.
